With a one-year-old, time slips away so quickly. Once a week, after bedtime: a bath, a candle, and a quiet glass of wine or a tea. A small ritual to slow the blur.

Like everyone else I’d like to use my phone less, but setting a more realistic slowing down goal of lighting a candle every night
I'm slowing down by taking the long way on my regular walk to & from the office
Blocking my calendar midday for a hot yoga class (especially when the sun starts setting at 4)
I'm slowing down by limiting distractions at meals as much as possible — no phones or screens, just enjoying food and the joy of eating alone.
Counterintuitive, but I am getting up 15 minutes earlier, so I am not so rushed getting my daughter to the bus in the morning and can enjoy my coffee.
Start the mornings with a stretch instead of a scroll and putting my phone on do not disturb whenever possible
