Brand Snack: Dou So
Doctors say that drinking a cocktail from one of these glasses will make all your problems go away
Snacks are short-form, midweek drops featuring brands I just discovered, shops I stumbled onto, artists I think you’ll love… little odes to the things I find that I’m sending straight over to you.
This week’s Brand Snack is Dou So, a candy-colored glassware company founded by Haitian creative Sasha Tesserot.

It seems that Dou So is just a baby brand, having recently launched their first line, The Helena Collection, in April. The assortment includes coupes, tumblers, goblets, and vases in the juiciest color combinations, each made in Turkey by artisan glassmakers using a meticulous mouth-blowing technique. Every piece is its own little work of art—just one on a table would be beautiful, but a dinner party’s worth of Amo Tumblers would be spectacular.
I’ve now fixated on the idea of serving a rainbow of sorbettos in Dou So’s Setta Coupes after dinner one night. How happy would you be to see a tray of these coming towards your table?
What drew me to Dou So in the first place was its beautiful product photography—I don’t know if it’s Tesserot herself or someone else behind the camera, but it’s absolutely fabulous and should be noted.
For more from Dou So, follow the brand on Instagram here and visit their website for an instant dopamine hit.

You’re Invited to a Patio Mixer
So, as you know, I’ve declared it the Summer of the Sidewalk Café. Ideally this means we’re spending our afternoons crammed together outside chic little bars located in places like Biarritz and Mallorca and Taormina, sipping Cynar spritzes or Kir Royales well into the evening. More likely, we’re spending them in our own backyards.
I'm Declaring It a Sidewalk Café Summer
Let’s set the scene.
You’re sitting on the sidewalk in front of your favorite neighborhood spot for a drink and a snack. The sun is hanging a little low in the sky, hitting everything with a hazy golden light. Brightly covered café tables are strewn with spritzes and cappuccinos and bowls of olives and ceramic ashtrays. (I don’t smoke, but we’re establishing a vibe here.) The sound of clinking glasses and bursts of laughter can be heard over a soundtrack of songs that feel like a vacation.
Summer A to Z, 2025 Edition
My spirit for summertime is fleeting—the second it hits 85 degrees here in LA I become summer’s biggest hater. But for now, while the weather is nice and the potential for summer plans is ahead, I’m focusing on the things I’m looking forward to over the next few months—in, once again, A to Z format.
Wowza these are everything!!!
