Shop Snack: Les Thèmes
A curated selection of collected art objects and accessories launched by theme
Snacks are short-form, midweek drops featuring brands I just discovered, shops I stumbled onto, artists I think you’ll love… little odes to the things I find that I’m sending straight over to you.
This week’s Shop Snack is Les Thèmes, an online shop that I can only describe as a true cabinet of curiosities collected by designer, stylist, and person with taste, Rebecca Goddard. Every few months Rebecca picks a theme, then releases a beautifully curated collection of home goods and personal objects related to it. Basically, a very *me* store.
It appears that Les Thèmes launched in August 2024 with a collection of art objects inspired by the sea. “A collection for dreamers, those who revel in the beauty of small moments and dote on material marvels,” it’s described on the website. “A personal exploration of the past and present—like a shell washed ashore and into the palm of your hand, these items are meant to be treasured.”
Her second collection, “Petit Sublime,” centers on daily routines and rituals: pillboxes, hair combs, and small home goods that bring a little whimsy to the everyday. It was one of these tasseled combs that caught my attention in the first place—I need one. Need!
I’m going to warn you that almost everything on the Les Thèmes site is currently sold out, but I’m telling you about it now because Rebecca’s third collection launches March 1st, and it would be rude of me to keep that information to myself. She hasn’t shared what the theme of this assortment will be, but I’m on the edge of my seat.
