Each month I send out a list of the month’s Specials, or 10 things I’m reading, watching, thinking about, listening to, etc. As a reminder, upgrading your subscription gives you access to all À La Carte newsletters (including my themed shopping round ups, essays, and mood boards,) paid subscriber-only perks, the full archive of newsletters, and my love and devotion, because your support means a lot!

This month’s Specials include a stunning ceramic piece that took 400 hours to make, a new project from a Coppola, an analysis of the color of the summer, and more. Read on!

This month’s Specials:

  • After Paige Wassel featured my sister’s perfect apartment on her Youtube channel, I fell deep, deep into the well of her interiors-related content. Admittedly I don’t spend much time on Youtube and have no idea what’s going on over there, but after watching, I don’t know, maybe 5 or 6 of her videos in a row, I can wholeheartedly recommend them if you’re into practical home design advice of the good taste variety. Also, Paige is launching a line of table linens via her online shop WAS this weekend, so keep an eye out if you like great textiles.

  • No one is doing it like Jacquemus right now. Their viral videos alone are something special, but their vacation-destination stores and cinematic collection shows are just as impressive. I’m not a tiny bag girlie, but their marketing is 100% working on me.
