The Creative Act was my first read of the year — Women Who Run with the Wolves is next! BTW, absolutely loved reading about the things you're looking forward to. I often feel ashamed wanting to watch programs like VPR or RHOBH because I keep thinking it's a poor use of my time or not enriching enough. But seeing someone as cultured and talented as you referencing them has made me change my mind and I realised this definitely doesn't have to define me, so THANK YOU! x
Recluse mode is my favorite mode after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. I will be starting a few books in 2024 because that’s how I roll (reading multiple books at a time). Every Good Endeavor by Tim Keller, Braiding sweet grass, and the subtle art of not giving a F*$CK 🤍
love this! i am about to start poor things - decided to read the book first, as i am a bit bitter the original is written by a scottish author set in glasgow and they changed the whole movie to be set in london instead!!
If you have any Paris recommendations please send them my way ✨ that hotel looks beautiful, so that may have to be in the bucket list for our next trip 🤌🏻
Talking At Night is on my list!!!
love it all, Ali! i’ve been joining you in reclusive solidarity and slowly climbing out! x
Sometimes we’ve gotta recluse!!!
Yay, I love a permission slip to stay cosy for a little longer! Just about to start Hello Beautiful. Happy new year 🤍

Justice for dumb TV!!!
I’m so glad you loved Hello Beautiful! I’m starting the year off with North Woods by Daniel Mason.
Birnam Wood by Eleanor Catton and listening to Patti Smith read Just Kids on Audible.
"My Last Innocent Year" by Daisy Alpert Florin. Also, would love more info and/or to see your "high-quality basics and vintage finds." Happy New Year!
Felt that a thing I'm looking forward to section omg!
It is a BIG MONTH for the Bravo girlies!!!
Yes!!! Unpopular opinion: SLC finale felt more wild to me than Scandoval, but could be how overdone that has become
I didn't watch VPR in its entirety until after Scandoval and missed the whole thing, so I agree!!! I am living for the memes this week
Same here, so that could also be it! Memes have been great, I saw a hilarious Saltburn one.

I’m jealous of those who can read multiple books at a time!
